Should be no surprise to many.  According to CNN (Carnegie Endowment for

International Peace, International Institute for Strategic Studies, United

Nations):



"Tuwaitha: The hub of Iraq's nuclear program, and where a 1981 Israeli

airstrike destroyed the Osiraq reactor, researchers here worked on uranium

enrichment, plutonium separation and waste processing. Damaged in the

Persian Gulf War, its nuclear fuel and equipment were eradicated under U.N.

supervision."



Perhaps the UN overlooked "residues" when eradicating the nuclear fuel and

equipment.
