Regional Health Physicist Position
PETNET Pharmaceuticals, Inc. is currently seeking a Regional Health
Physicist, for the
Corporate Radiological Compliance Department, to be based in Albany, NY.
This position
will primarily be responsible for implementation of the Radiation Safety
Program at the
radiopharmacies. In particular, this position will be responsible for
conducting
training, performance of radiological operations, review of effluent
monitoring
results, review of cyclotron operations, emergency response and licensing
of the
facilities.
The candidate must have a B.S. or M.S. (preferred) in Health Physics, with
at least four
years experience in operational health physics related to nuclear
pharmacies, medical
facilities, and/or materials licenses. Experience with the radiation safety
issues
associated with cyclotrons is very desirable. The ideal candidate should be
a
self-motivated individual, have a strong technical background, and sound
knowledge of
regulatory requirements (NRC/DOT/Agreement States), and have excellent
interpersonal
and communication skills. Approximately 50% travel is required for this
position.

The Regional Health Physicist will be located in Albany, NY. PETNET
