If this is the case, then petition the NRC to revise the public dose limit to allow such a
dose. You can petition to change Part 20 to raise the standard pubic dose limit up
from the 0.100 rem and the Part 35 dose of 0.500 rem. That is the way to address
this, not making concessions for one group or another. If the limit is too low, then
petition to revise it.
