I read the review of the cited book, and have communicated to Nuclear News that it seems to me the reviewer knew nothing about the WIPP independently of what he had read in the cited book.  I found the review superficial and uncritical.  The author of the book, Chuck McCutcheon, wrote a number of anti-WIPP articles for the Albuquerque Journal.



I am deliberately not commenting on the book itself.  I have ordered a copy and will provide RADSAFE with comments when I have read it.  It hasn't arrived at my house yet.
