TVO selected Olkiluoto-site for the new nuclear power plant unit in Finland - 

European pressurized water reactor is the preferred alternative.



TVO has informed the companies participating in the bidding competition for 

the new nuclear power plant unit that it will continue the negotiations with 

the preferred bidder, the consortium Framatome ANP - Siemens AG, based on their 

offer on a pressurized water reactor plant with electric output of about 1600 

MW. TVO has, however, not yet excluded the other alternatives.
