RE: I-131 Industrial Tracer
Syd,
If you have a radioactive material license which allows you to have I-131
in any form, we would be very happy to sell it to you. If your license
specifies a certain form, I am sure we can accommodate. We ship across the
US.
As long as the customer has a valid radioactive material license, we can
sell them the radio nuclide. We are not restricted to selling
radiopharmaceticals
for human use only. We sell to a lot of veterinary hospitals and clinics
also.

Subject: I-131 Industrial Tracer
I know of only one source of I-131 industrial tracer for use in the
oilfields in the US in end-user small quantities (20 or so mCi per order).
Can any of you radiopharmacy folks speak to the regulatory issues for a
licensed industrial user to obtain same from a nuclear pharmacy? I talked
to a couple of nuclear pharmacies here in Kentucky last week, and they
seemed concerned as to whether they could not sell to an industrial user.
