O.K. - even while I have really enjoyed the ironic posting from HP Dean, I would like to reinvent a somewhat more sicentific approach to the matter :-)



I think the disease of that woman (and much more other people in the world) is - despite the fact that they are really suffering from it - is of a nature that was 

former called "hysteric" in the 19th century (18xx ...) and "renamed" to "psychosomatic" in our "modern" medical age.



Since the disease may show real and significant reactions of the body, it is a true evidence of the powerful control that the subconscious mind has over the 

body. And besides of that, it's a disease that needs treatment - maybe it's to be treated with placebos .... imaginary medication against imaginated malicus 

agents.
