Re: Electromagnetic fields, radiation and a cat
Actually, the placebo effect is a very powerful one.
One issue is that the person "wants to get better."
The second is that she my have an underlying medical
problem, e.g., allergies of certain chemicals, that
are being interpreted as sensitivity to
electromagnetic fields.
An unfortunately, but compounding problem, is that she
may not have gotten adequate care in the past.
Physicians dismissed her "senstivities" as
psychosomatic, and to "get over it." That attitude
will turn anyone off to further treatment.
