Re: Film Festival/Nuclear Legacy
Feb. 11
I too looked at this website and it nothing but anti-nuclear propaganda.
The usual junk about Pu-239 -- inhaling one "particle" is a virtual
guarantor of cancer; no safe dose of radioactivity -- you know the drill.
No one from the nuclear industry was interviewed, or if they were they are
rather far down in the site, well after all the anti-nuke stuff.
The only organizations recommended are NM's anti-nukers; unreliable all.
There were some anti-nuke cut-and-paste letters to some of the NM
Congressional delegation that visitors could use.
The part about "Eddie" Teller was definitely offensive. Whether one likes
him, dislikes him, or is neutral about him, Teller is worthy of more
respect than this.
