Canadian experiment with buried waste glass

    Several years ago, there were reports of a Canadian experiment with 

high level waste glass buried in ground water, with periodic checks on 

the amount of leaching that was occurring. The last report I saw on this 

was a 1976 Report AECL 5317 by W.F. Merritt. Does anyone know what has 

happened with this experiment, or what the final conclusions were?  Does 

anyone know how I can contact W.F. Merritt? A reference to a publication 

would be very useful.
