Sorry to see everyone so upset with me once again for making a simple, and I

thus far conducted have not come to a definitive conclusion.

No study will ever conclude that something was perfectly harmless. Ever.

That's kind of the whole point that you seem to be missing. One cannot prove

beyond any shadow of a doubt that Love Canal did not cause even one premature

death anymore than one can prove beyond a shadow of a doubt that fairies do not

exist. That is the logical fallacy you cannot seem to grasp.

What should be of interest with the release of these findings is that this

research is being conducted apparently by NYSDOH, again...Sooo (1). Will their

own findings corroborate, or, (2). refute previous determinations? IF THERE IS

A NEED for additional studies, that should say something about the confidence

in previous work, wouldn't this be correct?

I believe that much of the information to be contained in this publication

has already been disseminated preliminarily and informally at the NYSDOH

web-site. I don't expect any big surprises. I look forward to reviewing it. And,

as I've mentioned before, if we've had to look this hard to find any increased

incidence of disease, it's pretty clear there certainly was no "epidemic" of

health effects.
