SUMMARY: On December 22, 1993, a final rule making a number 
of conforming amendments to the NRC's standards for protection 
against radiation was published in the Federal Register (58 
FR 67657). References to the former standards for protection 
against radiation were removed from the regulations, and, in 
that process, certain requirements and provisions not intended 
to be removed were inadvertently deleted. This final rule reinstates 
those applicable implementation provisions of the NRC's regulations 
which were intended to remain in effect or are needed for clarity. 

EFFECTIVE DATE: August 15, 1994.
