Rad Material Shipment

Don Munroe was wanting to ship "limited quantity" of radioactive material.
Therefore, Type A package, marking, labeling and declaration would not be
required unless the package surface radiation level exceeded 0.5 mrem/hr.

The kind words about Federal Express are greatly appreciated.

For International Rad Mat shipments the easiest way to go is FedEx.
They have well developed forms and procedures to help the
inexperienced.

To answer your question, for a Type A shipment you will need:

1 Type A shipping package and certification (if Type A)
        marked & labeled appropriately
2. declaration of dangerous goods
3. Import/export document
4. bill of ladding or airbill
