Re: NATURAL EXPOSURE
Workers in Grand Central Station in NYC are not monitored although
some are probably over the occupational monitoring threshold, from the
Uranium (and daughter products) in the granite which the station is
built with.

To leave the airlines and go back to the radon thread. If I place a
worker's office in the basement of a thick-walled concrete building
that causes his radon exposure to increase over a coworker housed in
an above ground wooden building doing the same task, have I given him
an occupational dose? I think not. Your answer should not be
prejudiced because I happen to have HPs at this facility that know of
this potential dose. I could be in any industry.
