ENGINEERING POSITION  (term appointment)  
BROOKHAVEN NATIONAL LABORATORY 
Safety & Environmental Protection Division

Requires a B.S. in the physical sciences (M.S. preferred) and a minimum of 5
years experience in environmental protection.  Applicant must have
demostrated knowledge in the environmental radiation protection area.
Familiarity with DOE/EPA regulations for environmental programs is
desireable.  Applicant will assist in the preparation of BNL environmental
regulatory documents such as Environmental Monitoring, ALARA and Effluent
Treatment plans.  The positon will also entail general suport in the area of
environmental regulatory compliance.
