Just a comical note about the revigator.  While in undergrad I found one 
of these crocks next to my father-in-laws easy chair.  Mom had bought it 
at a yard sale for $5.00.  He wasn't raelly impressed when I put the GM 
tube in the crock, with the volume on high.  These are still found in the 
mid-west flea markets, price is now $225.00!!!!!!  got milk???
