Subject: Pros and Cons of Class II Laser Control
Regarding Class 2 lasers:

We currently inventory/control class 3b and 4 lasers only (including
embedded class 3b  or 4's).  Training is required for these operators;
a less intensive awareness course is available for lower-power laser
users.  With the multitude of laser pointers, bar code scanners,
etc. which contain class 3a lasers and below, we decided to use
our resources for the high-powered devices.
