I heard a talk given by John Horan to either the Idaho Section of ANS or the
local HPS Chapter on the mission to remove the fuel from this reactor.  

John was one of the team members from INEL (Idaho National Engineering
Laboratory, previously the National Reactor Testing Station) sent to Viet Nam
to remove and retrieve the fuel.  He's semi-retired now (still consults), but
maybe someone in Idaho/at INEL could get some perspective from him.  Is he
online?
