Please note the difference --   giving an outrageous response to the public  **is not**  
dealing with their outrage.  By talking about no safety hazard in a plume we are being
outrageous.  By dealing with the outrage the public feels about a leak that went
undetected for ten years we can get on to other things.  But until we deal with that,
anything we say is going to be hot air.  I'm sorry this was not clear in my first posting.
