European Laser Standards


Good morning, fellow professionals! :)	

Are any of you familiar with a European laser standard designated "EN
60825.1"? It's my understanding that it is the equivalent of 21 CFR
1040. Does the European community grant reciprocity to laser equipment
manufactured to CDRH standards? Does anyone know where I can get my
hands on a copy?

Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thank you in advance.
