NRC posts new info on decommissioning dose modeling

The NRC has posted new draft information on dose modeling for decommissioning on
its NRC Technical Conference Forum (http://techconf.llnl.gov/cgi-bin/topics).

The information posted describes how to determine parameters for the building
occupancy scenario.  The purpose of posting the information on the website is to
provide an opportunity for public input into guidance being developed on how to
implement the decommissioning regulation that the NRC published in July 1997.

To view the information:

1.  Go to the website:  http://techconf.llnl.gov/cgi-bin/topics

2.  Select "Final Rule on Radiological Criteria for License Termination"

3.  Select "Lic Term Document Library"

4.  In the left-hand column, click on "Dose assesment"

5.  Scroll down to "Contents" and select any (or all) of the active titles.
