Irradiation Of Meat

As a follow up to the post about the USTODAY weekend section
report on the irradiation of meat a couple of weeks ago. They
had a call in poll Would you buy irradiated meat? They came out with
the results in this past weekends edition.

51% said they would
48% said they would NOT

(me I am wondering where the other 1% went. You only
had the two options, and if you didn't have an opinion
why call in?)

The other thing of course being this only polls people who
feel strongly enough about the issue to actually pick up a phone
and call.
I think in the store more people would buy it out of not caring one way
or the other. I mean how many people actually LOOK for the cow
hormone label?
