I'd have been against it as policy, but since HPD replied to me privately, and I know his affiliation, I'm not sure it's such a bad thing. Remember, that XZZ@xxx.edu, or whatever extension identifies a server, employer, and possibly an organization that doesn't wish to have some remarks attributed to them, regardless of whatever disclaimers we use.
