Nikolaj Vladimirovic Timofejev-Resovskij, who worked in Berlin 
Buch, Delbrück set out the fundamental principles of molecular 
genetics. In 1935, along with Karl Günther Zimmer, they published 
their ground-breaking paper  "On the Nature of Gene Mutation and 
Gene Structure".
