Texas also has recommended and limit values for EELs (Entrance Exposure
Limits; based on nominal patient thickness values).

See Texas Regulations for Control of Radiation (TRCR) Part 32 Table I.
Recommended values are approximately 2/3 of the limit.

For example: Chest (PA), Non-Grid; Thickness 23 cm; Suggested EEL 20 mR;
EEL Limit 30 mR
