Marviken NPP
One of the reasons that Marviken was never started was its anticipated
positiv void coefficient and instability in transient situations. See e.g:
Nuclear Applications, Vol. 3, Oct.1967, Frigyes Reisch et.al. ......The
Dynamic Behavior of the .......Marviken Boiling Heavy-Water Reactor.
Marviken was converted to oil firing but was very seldom used as such.
Later it was extensively used for non nuclear experiments for nuclear
safety research purposes.
