I support your point,
Green Peace and other environmental movements are very politically
active, opposite
to people in nuclear industry, of course there are exceptions.
And I think that the oil and gas industry's standing does not help in
this cituation either.
After Chernobyl accident in former SU, the gas industry were using the
hysterics
and radiophobia for lobbying to build new natural gas fuel plants.
So I would think that a political system would not make a big difference
in similar
cituation.
