Again accuses DOE of deceptions Oak Ridger
Letter-to-the-Editor 10/7/98

To The Oak Ridger:

The Tennessean newspaper recently exposed what appears to be
widespread systemic health problem at all Department of Energy sites
across the country. DOE headquarters managers, like Peter Brush and
Paul Seligman, deceptively claim no knowledge of this, when actually
they have been repeatedly notified of these problems.

The Oak Ridge area news did not carry this news and every major paper
across the country did; even the New York Times and USA Today
reported it. Is this the real reason there are "no problems" in Oak Ridge,
failure to fully inform the public by DOE and its supportive local press? Is
investigative reporting taboo in Oak Ridge?

In Oak Ridge, we appear to see legal excuses for not showing the
citizens all they need to know on toxic exposure health risk, this
essentially allowing the slow toxic tort murder by disease plague of
innocent children and even the unborn.

DOE uses a legal exemption to deny evidence to hide its internally
well-known health effects directly tied to bone-seeking
long-retention-time heavy metals and radiation isotope effects in the
environment.

Oak Ridge is one of the worst heavy metals-contaminated sites in the
world and as such there will be immune system health effects.

Is it a coincidence that all these DOE site health effects involve
long-retained heavy metals and radiation that seek bone and destroy the
immune response? Is it a coincidence that DOE shelved the NCI I-131
study for 15 years and forgot to do the Sr-90 problems, which are much
worse than the I-131 effects and linked to AIDS/HIV?

Is it a coincidence that 100,000 Gulf vets are sick with all kinds of immune
diseases from bone-seeking DU exposures, and that this DU system was
largely designed in Oak Ridge? Is it a coincidence that DOE fly-over
surveys blocked out the air plume from the 40 million pounds of DU chips
ajacent to Scarboro community?

Is it a coincidence that the ORHASP study also omits the fuller Sr-90 and
uranium effects on bone marrow, which would find serious health
effects in the Oak Ridge area?

The truth is, uranium, Sr-90, mercury, nickel, and many other air
emissions in Oak Ridge are long-retained bone seekers, which are
cumulative over time, and grow to produce immune health damage.

Basically, these are not coincidences -- they are intentional deceptions
with the same root of bone marrow cell damages leading to long-term
immune dysfunction and disease.

It is fully manufactured by DOE and its contractors to cover up liabilities in
Oak Ridge and nationwide.

The magnitude of these deceptions have war crimes implications that
dwarf those of Hitler and the Nazis or the mad men of Iraq and the Middle
East. Oak Ridge management has taken on the visions of Saddam and
Gomorrah -- and it may be time to turn away from trusting these
deceivers.

Finially, It is overdue and high time these DOE deceptions get called what
they are --intentional -- orchestrated --and criminal -- prosecutable war
crimes against humanity.

DOE avoids the truth, enriches itself with large paychecks for spins of
the real information and rewards the medical community with lots of
excess disease, provided they don't publicly diagnose the bone-seeking
heavy metals and radiation immune damage all around Oak Ridge.

In any other setting, this would be called racketeering and organized
crime.

"National security" in Oak Ridge is the license to deceive and to kill with
excess disease. These are the real revelations behind these great health
plagues across the country and in Oak Ridge reported by The
Tennessean and obscured in Oak Ridge.

I have no respect left for Oak Ridge and its deceptions. It even violates
the biblical law of the "sins of omissions."

Bloody foul deception is the bottom line in Oak Ridge.
