Cincinnati Radiation Society
Thursday Evening, 29 October


Thursday evening 29 October the regular meeting of the Cincinnati.
Radiation Society will involve vendor displays and a guest speaker, Dr.
Paul Frame, from Oak Ridge National Laboratory.  The topic of Dr. Frame's
presentations is "The history of radiation protection instrumentation."  .  

The meeting will be held at the U. C. Faculty Club on the campus directly
across the street from the bookstore.  Convenient (but not free) parking is
available directly adjacent to the UC Faculty Club/Alumni Center and in
either the UC Library or CBA garages. 

Prior to the meeting, representatives from commercial vendors of
contemporary health physics and dosimetry instruments and services will
have display tables from 5:00 - 6:30.   A cash (i.e., no-host) bar will
also be open from 5:00 to 6:30.  

The buffet dinner begins at 6:30 and includes beef, fish, vegs, beverage
and dessert.   The cost for dinner and the meeting is $20.00.  Reservations
are required and can be made by contacting Riasp Medora (513) 648-4348 or
<RIASP.MEDORA@FERNALD.GOV>.   Although reservations will be accepted until
26 October, if you know that you will attend, please contact Riasp as soon
as possible.  We may move the meeting to the U. C. Alumni Center (which is
adjacent to the Faculty Club) if we exceed the capacity of the room
currently reserved.  

Dr. Frame's presentations will begin at 7:30.
