Re: Occupational exposure to radon?

Reply:

The Europeans have done a lot of work on radon concentration in various
environments. I suggest you contact
Dr. Jaak Sinnaeve
Directorate General for science, Research and Development, Energy
Radiation Protection
DG XII - F-6
Rue de la Loi, 200
B-200 Brussels
Belgium

Inthe meantime, here are some references concerning radon concentration in
non uranium mines:

	Chruscielewski, W. ert al,
Radon concentration in air of Polish Coal mines , pp. 297-301
(Proceedings of the Intern. Conf. on Occupational Radiation Safety in
Mining, H. Stocker, Ed., Publisher: Canadian Nuclear Association, 1984

	Bernhard S. et al.,
Identification of Non-uranium mines which present a radon risk through
measurement of exhaust air
Same reference as above, pp. 307-316

This reference has several other entries about radon in non uranium mines.
