Re: Humor for some, not for the overly sensitive

The argument about the radiation dose from one of the depleted
uranium rounds does seem to be a bit misplaced, as well as
immaterial. In addition to the problem of fragments of armor and
uranium penetrator flying around the inside of the tank, there is
also the problem of the uranium catching fire as it breaks through
the armor (uranium is prone to catch fire when being machined in the
presence of oxygen). The fire by itself is a serious threat to life
and health, but oxygen depletion and probable detonation of
ammunition are certain to cause death or serious injury.

These opinions are, of course, my own.
