Temperature dependence of TLD response
Radsafers:
I expect that there's a "quick and easy" answer to the following question:
What is the temperature (or other meteorological e.g. humidity) dependence
on the response of TLDs? I'm interested in using standard LiF TLDs for
environmental measurements of gamma radiation over a year or so, and they
may therefore be subjected to temperatures ranging from -40 to +30 Celsius.
I assume that LiF TLDs are the best bet for an integrated long-term,
low-cost, low-maintenance, environmental gamma radiation measurement. If
not I'd appreciate any advice on the choice of
Thanks.
