Dual Type A (solid/liquid) and Infectious Substance specification packaging
Transportation types, prepare to opine...
1. For international air shipping purposes, if you have a Class 7
medical material (>Ltd Qty, <A Qty) with an infectious substance
component, do you package strictly to the Class 7 specification OR do
you make a combination/dual certification package to meet Class 7 AND
the Infectious Substance package specifications.
2. Is anyone out there using a package with at least a 10cm inner
diameter and at least a 23cm height that meets both the Class 7 Type A
requirements and Infectious Substance 6.2 specifications? If so, has
the particular Type A package also been tested to the more stringent
"liquids" requirements.
3. Alternatively, is anyone using a Type A package that's at least 10 cm
inner diameter, but less than 24cm in diameter and at least 23 cm in
height, but less than 32 cm in height.
Please respond to me directly. If others are interested in the answer,
I'll post to the list.
