Old Gamma counter

We have found an old Searle Analytic Gamma counter model # 000-001190, 
and have been unable to find a company to call. 
Does anyone know if there is a source in these things? I cannot find a 
label anywhere to indicate there is, but I don't want to just throw it 
out, and I would hate to take it apart just to find out there isn't a 
source.
