In defense of my good friend, I think those of us with a conservative bent have a tendency to toss the anti-nukes into the "liberal" bin of political generalizations.

However, if you look closely at MOST of the anti-nuke writings, you'll see that they are *generally* FAR left of the social liberals and most of the time left of the socialists ... into the Marxist range.

With that said, it is also interesting to note that there are anti-nuke planks written into both the Democratic AND Republican party platforms in the state of Texas (egad!).

So, to echo Franz's sentiments, it is quite a web.
