RE: Soil Scanning/Sampling reference documents
Keith,
Suggest you check with Jack Duray (I am not sure if he is still working) at
the DOE office in Grand Junction, CO. In the early days of the uranium mill
tailings program several protocols were developed and the facilities were
good. I do not have a number for Jack, bnut you could also check with Craig
Little at 970-248-6201. He is with the ORNL office in Grand Junction and he
can tell you what is still available.

Can anyone provide me with some good reference documents on surface
scanning, bore hole logging, and sampling. This is for the =
characterization
and pre-remediation planning of potentially contaminated (or =
contaminated)
sites.
Are there any EPA or DOE standard protocols or are they all
contractor
generated specific to the site(s) they may work.
Thanks in advance, =20
