Next Meeting Of The Cincinnati Radiation Society

The next meeting of the CRS (non-profit org.) will be held Thursday, April
15, at the White House Inn, located at 4940 Muhlhauser Road.  Dinner will
be served at 6:30 with a presentation by Dr. Norbert Rempe, the principal
engineer for the Waste Isolation Pilot Plant (WIPP) in New Mexico. The
presentation will begin at 7:30 P.M.  Social is at 6:00 P.M.. 

As you may be aware, the WIPP just recently received the first shipment
of waste after more than twenty years of planning and construction. 
Although there are still many more obstacles to overcome, the first
shipment was a momentous occasion and a step in the right direction.

Come hear how the WIPP came to be and how it will operate to safely
store defense related transuranic waste.  More information on the WIPP

The cost of the dinner is $20.  Choose one from the following:  

1) Nashville Chicken (A house specialty)
2) Grilled Pork Chops
3) Lemon Whitefish
4) Pasta and Vegetables (for the vegetarians)

A drink is also included and two side dishes from the following:  Garden
Salad, Caesar Salad, Sauteed Rice, Vegetable o' the Day, Baked Idaho
Potato, Mashed Potatoes, and Sauteed Mushrooms.
