Re: Skin sensitive individual

As a Shift HP in 1955, one of our shift's best mechanic ( outside the Rad
Area ) was very sensitive to radiation exposure. He recognized the effect,
and didn't try to hide it. He would break out in sweats and turn red, which
developed into a rash. The last time that I remember him scheduled to go
into a contaminated area with a rubber acid suit on, he flexed his muscles
and ripped the suit down the back,

Did I mention that he was VERY large. Not fat.

some cement block which was stored beneath a false floor in the room.
Background radiation is all that was present.

seeing all the CAUTION RADIATION signs, may have caused the rash. We also
reassured him that the radiation in the room could not have caused the rash.
