Job Posting: Technician IV - Department of Occupational and Environmental
Safety

Case Western Reserve University in Cleveland, OH has an opening for a
Radiation Safety Technician IV in the Department of Occupational and
Environmental Safety.  We seek someone who is enthusiastic, productivity
oriented, computer skilled, and excels in both oral and written
communication. The successful candidate will be expected to effectively
accomplish usual technician tasks such as laboratory radiation surveys,
instrumentation and equipment operation, perform laboratory waste pickup
and prepare waste for disposal. Competency using Microsoft Office and
relational database software is highly desirable.  In addition, willingness
to undertake broader responsibility is expected. Prefer BA/BS or Associates
Degree in science.  Requires at least 2 years of experience in the field of
radiation protection, Mac and PC computer literacy, and excellent oral and
written communication skills.

The Radiation Safety Group shares offices with the Environmental/Chemical
Safety Group, and cross training is encouraged.  CWRU is a complete
