After tiring of deleting all of the "beer-for-U" threads, I thought that I'd
add $0.02-worth:

Did anyone consider the risk-tradeoff, that beer is a likely bladder
carcinogen?  I think it depends on the richness (quality) of the beer.
Thus, the relative risk here is probably lower than treating a U
contamination victim in Europe.
