its Friday...  wrt: radio-iodine and US Customs... and the question

The cat is 14 years old, can't keep down the normal medicine. It's only 
hope is I-131 therapy and yet it may not survive the trip from Alaska to 
Seattle for treatment!  The family is "bummed out" about the situation. 
This is offered not as an excuse, but to answer the above question.
