It is correct to assume units are mSv?  Florence is in the hills - 77 mRem
(0.77 mSv) appears a little low.  Here is Louisiana, which is almost at sea
level, we average between 0.90 and 1.25 mSv per annum.  any comments?

Hi Bob,

from my files the naturale external doses yearly adsorbed by peolple are:

Florence  0.77
L'Aquila  0.82
Naples    2.13 (there is the Vesuvio)
Perugia   0.90
Potenza   1.31
Roma      1.58

It depends on presence of vulcanic activities on these areas (obviously
higher in Naples area and northern Sicily)
