RADSAFERS,

Franz Schoenhofer asked that I stop posting the medical updates of the JCO
criticality accident victims. His point is well taken, for I have been posting
my translation of the STA's updates with mixed feelings as well. My heart goes
out to the victims and their families.

However I also realize that there are genuine interests, at least among those
people who wrote me privately to continue the postings.  And if I may be of
service to the health physics community (without offending anyone's
sensibilities or privacy) I will try my best.

Per Franz's request, I will stop posting, at least for now. If there is
sufficient interest, perhaps I'll resume translating, and perhaps send them out
privately.  For now, I will spend more time with my family.
