RE: NCCHPS January Meeting
Hello Radsafes,
The topic that will be discussed in the meeting is very important for
radiation safety specialists. But, it is recommended to convey the massage to
the users too. The basic mistakes that led to the accidents in Yanago, Egypt
and Tokaimura were done by the users. It may be done by training or
updating the users. As an example, today I am going to describe the
radiological accident in Yanago - which was radiography accident - in the
Israeli NDT Association Convention. Most of the audience will be
radiography users.
