Baltimore-Washington Chapter of the Health Physics Society



Health Physics Society Strategic Plan and Important Initiatives

Dr. Kase will provide an overview of the Strategic Plan and how the

Society's current program relates to the Plan.  He will focus on a few of

the initiatives which are most important, particularly as regards member and

chapter involvement, such as the Congressional and Federal Agency Program

and the Workforce Needs Initiative.



Please note that there will be an Executive Committee meeting at the

restaurant prior to the Chapter meeting, from 5:30-6:30.  There will also be

a brief business meeting between the dinner and the featured presentation.

Members:	$20 		

Nonmembers:	$25 		

Date:  September 12, 2002		



Agenda:	

Social Hour:	6:30 to 7:15 P.M.

Dinner:	7:15 to 8:00 P.M.	

Speaker:	8:00 to 9:00 P.M.





Menu:

Menu includes Chicken Lettuce Wrap, Shrimp Toast, Steak-on-a-stick, Sesame

Jumbo Shrimp, Asparagus Snow Peas Chicken, Crispy Beef, String Bean

Szechuan, House Lo Mein, Steamed & Fried Rice, Tea, Dessert



Reservations:

Please provide your reservation by Noon 9/10/02.  Please e-mail your

reservation to noskam@cber.fda.gov or if you have no email access, call Mike

Noska at 301-827-5115.  If you make a reservation and cannot attend the

meeting, please let us know because the cost of the meeting is based on the

number of reservations received.  In the past, the Chapter has lost

significant money as a result of "no-shows".  This is a waste of your dues.
