Jim,

I think your statement is true for any and all cancers, those that are

induced and those that occur spontaneously.  What is the reason for the

faulty repair:  an inability to RECOGNIZE the damage, or the inability to

REPAIR the damage?  A robust that is unable to recognize the damage will not

repair it.
