Along the line of excellence and optimization, some comments by Stephen

Covey on effectiveness:



  "Put First Things First: Organize and execute around priorities.



  It's incredibly easy to get caught up in an activity trap, . . . to work

harder and harder at climbing the ladder of success only to discover it's

leaning against the wrong wall.



  The key is not to prioritize what's on your schedule, but to schedule your

priorities."



And I might add, in any arena your priorities are heavily influenced by, if

not determined by, your food chain.
