Re: "Perception is reality"



Sandy,

    My remark was not intended for Bill, or anyone else on radsafe. The

group I had in mind (i.e."those") are the legislators and bureaucrats who

actually base some of the really idiotic  laws and regulations they produce

upon the perceptions of paranoids and hypochondriacs. I don't blame the

paranoids and hypochondriacs for the views they hold. They can't help it.

However , laws & regulations should reflect what's best for the general

public

and not cater to a group politically skilled nuts. For a classic example of

what

I refer to (and what set me off on this rant), see your recent post on the

California  Legislature's scuttling low-level radwaste disposal in the

state.
