Hopefully older people do not feel as a target group! In Europe it is

clearly recommended, that people over the age of 50 (or maybe even 40 - I do

not remember it for sure) should  n o t  use potassium iodide in the case of

an emergency, because the negative effects could be life-threatening for

older people. Btw, KI pills cannot be purchased on the internet in Europe,

They are sold in pharmacies and to children they were given there for free,

when they were introduced many years ago. Schools should have a supply for

pupils, but they would only given given to them with the written consent of

the parents.
