Regional Health Physicist position
PETNet Pharmaceuticals, Inc. is currently seeking a Regional Health
Physicist for
the Corporate Radiological Compliance Department. This position will be
responsible
for assisting in the development and implementation of the Corporate
Radiological
Compliance Program (radiation protection and DOT). In particular, this
position
will be responsible for several program elements (e.g. training, policies &
procedures, radiation protection design, etc.) for the PETNet Corporate
program, as
well as supporting the compliance programs (e.g. audits, licensing, health
physics
support, etc.) for the assigned PETNet pharmacies.
The ideal candidate should have a B.S. or M.S. (preferred) in Health
Physics, with
approximately five years experience in operational health physics related
to
nuclear pharmacies, medical facilities, and/or materials licenses. The
ideal
candidate should be a self-motivated individual, having a strong technical
background and sound knowledge of regulatory requirements
(NRC/DOT/Agreement
States), and have excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
Approximately
50% travel is required for this position.
PETNet Pharmaceuticals, Inc., with its corporate office in Knoxville,
Tennessee,
operates several nuclear pharmacies in the United States for the
manufacture and
distribution of PET products. The Regional Health Physicist will be located
in
